The GoBible® Offers Two New Products and Download Site

(New York, NY): The Bible continues to be one of the most popular books around as noted on the best-seller list every year, yet there are many people who wish they had more time to study and read God's Word. Now there's an innovative and easy way to listen to and study the Bible. The GoBible® LLC, creators of the most popular handheld audio Bible, announces two new products -- the GoBible® Traveler™ and the GoBible® Viajero and the launch of its download site.

Rather than spending upwards of a hundred dollars on a series of CD's that take up space or taking extra time finding where you left off, the GoBible® Traveler™ is economically priced at $59.95 and features over 70 hours of preloaded audio on one small, hand-held device. The GoBible Traveler® is offered in either The King James Version or The New International Version. Other features include 36 bookmarks to hold favorite chapters or marked places, as well as GoBible's Bible-in-a-Year program, which allows listeners to complete the entire Bible by listening 12-15 minutes per day for a year.

The GoBible® LLC has also exclusively debuted the GoBible® Viajero for the Spanish speaking audience, featuring the Nueva Versión Internacional. "The release of the Viajero, GoBible's first foreign language product, is an exciting milestone for GoBible. The GoBible® Traveler™ and the GoBible® Viajero is approximately 3.5 inches by 2 inches by .5 inch. The screen size measures 1.3 inches in diameter. It weighs approximately 2.5 ounces. The GoBible® Traveler™ comes with headphones and one AAA battery that can operate the unit for over 20 hours. Any standard set of headphones will work with the universal earphone jack on the Traveler. Two playback accessories are available for purchase: a set of portable speakers and an FM transmitter for car stereos.

Additionally, The GoBible® LLC has enhanced their website www.gobible.com to include a download site where customers who already own an MP3 player or iPod can download various narrations of the Bible as well as Christian content to their existing players. GoBible's download site is unique in that it offers a variety of resources for users to customize their iPod or MP3 player with downloads of Christian books, Bible translations and ringtones. Audiences may also download sermons from well-respected Bible teachers, including Henry Blackaby, Jonathan Edwards, Martin Luther and John Bunyan.

Hand- Held Audio Version Allows Users To Search/Play At Verse Level

Sept 28, 2006, New York, NY -- A powerful new audio Bible is making its debut in the U.S. this holiday season which will modernize how people study God's word.  The Original GoBible, a preloaded hand-held audio device, uses patent-pending technology that allows users to search the Scriptures down to the verse level. Currently, all other audio versions of the Bible are recorded and indexed at the chapter level only.

Weighing about as much as the AAA battery that powers it, the small hand-held device comes preloaded with the entire audio version of the Bible and is supported by new technology which allows users to scan through various books, chapters and verses of the Old and New Testaments by using the interactive menu on its LCD screen.

“We've compressed more than 70 hours of audio onto a very small chip,” said Andrew Block, founder and president of GoBible, LLC. “This has never been done before, nor has an audio version of the Bible been available that allows users to search and begin play at the verse level. The Original GoBible® is equipped with several exciting features.  The first is the “Story Index,” which is an easy-to access list of more than 200 of the most popular Bible stories.  The user can choose between Old or New Testament stories.  The user simply selects a story to hear and the Original GoBible® will play that story from beginning to end.  The “Story Index” would not be possible without the Original GoBible® being able to be indexed to the verse level since many popular Bible stories begin and end at the verse level.

Another exciting feature is aimed at people who try to read through the entire Bible in a year. Many find that goal to be overwhelming and even frustrating at times.  As a solution, under its “Special Features” menu, the Original GoBible® provides a user-friendly "Bible-in-a-Year" program which organizes passages into 12 to 15 minute daily segments, and navigates the user through the entire Bible in 365 days.

A “Topical Index” lists roughly 30 circumstances and emotions—sadness, joy, fear, repentance, etc., - relevant to life’s everyday ups and downs. Users can select a topic and choose from several verses specific to that topic.

Lastly, the original GoBible® can support 24 bookmarks so the user can save special passages or hold their place until the next time they listen.   The timing of the device’s backlight can be adjusted and the Original GoBible® is powered by just one AAA battery.

The Original GoBible® is available in the New King James Version or the King James Version, and is voiced by two legends of narration, award-winning Stephen Johnston known for PBS documentaries and the late, legendary, Alexander Scourby, the “Voice of the Bible.”
