New King James Bible audio

New King James Bible

Like many Christians today, you've probably heard Scripture read and reflected upon in Church, and you may have studied it in a Bible study class or group. But like many of your brethren, maybe you haven't had a chance to read the whole Bible from cover to cover.

Don't be disheartened. The Holy Bible does not make for light, easy reading. But we offer a solution to help you hear all of God's Word - Old and New Testaments, book by book, chapter by chapter and verse by verse - as you go about your daily activities.

The Original GoBible is a small self-contained portable MP3 player with full audio Bible text. It allows you to listen to the New King James Bible as read by Emmy winner Stephen Johnston of PBS special series narration fame. What's more is that since the Original GoBible is formatted in digital MP3, you don't have to listen in a linear fashion. You can select specific books, chapters and even verses of the New King James Version of the Bible and listen to them in any order you like.

If you prefer the more traditional King James Bible Version, we offer the Original GoBible preloaded with this beautiful prose as well. When you place your order, just indicate which version you prefer, and we'll accommodate your wishes.

King James Bible Version

The venerable Alexander Scourby lent his resonant, Shakespearean-trained voice to over 500 book recordings during his fifty year narrating career. One of his vocal works included the King James Bible Version in its entirety.

We have taken this incredible recording and digitally indexed it to the book, chapter and verse level, allowing you to target your listening of either this biblical text or the New King James Bible text similarly to the way you would read His Word in your bound Bible.

The Original GoBible also lets you listen to the King James Version of Bible text using a story or topic index which links you directly with specific passages which address your selection. For example, if you want to hear the popular story of Samson and Delilah, GoBible can connect you right to that Old Testament story, allowing you to listen to just that selection. A full index of more than 200 popular stories plus special topics can be found off the Features menu under the "What is the GoBible?" tab.
