Innovative audio KJV Bibles
If you've ever listened to an audio recording of the King James Version of the Bible, you probably heard it read by the celebrated Mr. Alexander Scourby. His Shakespearean-trained vocal resonance has given voice to audio KJV Bibles available for well over two decades on cassettes, CDs and DVDs.
We have brought Mr. Scourby's masterful reading of Holy Scripture to a whole new level with the Original GoBible KJV MP3 device. The Original GoBible is a portable audio player, barely bigger than the size of a credit card, which includes the entire Old and New Testaments of the Bible as read by Alexander Scourby.
The complete 70+ hours of audio, which once required over forty cassette tapes or more than sixty CDs to hold, are preloaded onto a microchip which is already installed in the GoBible player. With the GoBible MP3, there is no connecting or downloading from the Internet ever necessary.
KJV MP3 searchability and convenience
While there are many MP3 audio recordings of KJV Bibles available today, none offer the level of audio text search capability or convenience you'll find with the Original GoBible.
Most KJV MP3 recordings are segmented at the book and chapter levels of Bible text, allowing listeners to find, then start and stop their listening on a chapter basis. While this beats the days of fast forwarding or rewinding cassette tapes to get to what you want to hear, or juggling a multitude of CDs to find what you're looking for, chapter level searching doesn't exactly mirror how you use your paper bound Bible. But the Original GoBible does.
We have further segmented audio chapters of the Bible to the verse level. This allows you to start and stop your listening of selected Bible verses in a manner more closely aligned with how most Christians read, study and memorize biblical text.
